Horses are big business in Ireland, and the equestrian community is tightly connected,
Horse Sport Ireland (HSI) is the national governing body for equestrian sport and breeding in Ireland, established in 2008.
The head of Horse Sport Ireland scheduled a call with Dustpod CEO Dusty Rhodes, which led to the creation of a monthly podcast that XXXX
Working closely with Lee-Ann, Dustpod created a seven-part podcast series featuring expert guests who were also mothers themselves.
Dustpod encouraged Lee-Ann to host this podcast, and each episode featured an expert guest who was also encouraged to share their own experiences of becoming a first-time mother alongside their professional expertise.
The combination of the host being a first-time mother and expert guests sharing their experiences created a compelling connection with the target audience and the CarePlus brand.

When Lee-Ann contacted Dustpod, she already had a lot of ideas in place; however, as she openly admits, she didn’t know how to bring all these together.
The good news was that Lee-Ann had a brilliant idea, which was (and is) of genuine interest to many current and future customers. In addition, Lee-Ann’s idea fully complemented the existing ‘CarePlus Baby Club’ and aligned with the brand’s commitment to “deliver expert advice” and build authority in this area.
One of our most important tasks was to identify a perfect host, and we realised from the start that the best host for Care + Conversations was Lee-Ann herself.
At first, Lee-Ann wasn’t keen on this idea, but with gentle encouragement from our producers, she agreed, and it was the right choice. Lee-Ann’s passion for the subject shines through with 100% credibility.
We also created a strategic plan for the entire series and a format for each episode. We also made the audio branding and worked on all pre-production and post-production tasks.
A further factor in the success of the Care + Conversations podcast is that CarePlus promoted the podcast on their website and in-store. In addition, thanks to press releases issued by CarePlus, the podcast also gained national press coverage and was featured by numerous mother and baby websites. As a result, the promotional activity then extended organically to high-profile “mother and baby” groups on Social Media.
Finally, we mustn’t overlook the powerful SEO created by the podcast content and episode transcripts, which also made the podcast easy to find on Google, Spotify or Apple Podcasts.
All of the above confirms that there are many “indirect” benefits of podcasting, and these are just some!
Taking everything into consideration, we consider this project to be a masterclass in branded podcasting, and this is borne out (pardon the pun) by the results!
Dustpod provided training to Lee-Ann, including how to use a professional microphone, structure interview questions, and practice sessions (with constructive feedback), all of which, in combination, gave Lee-Ann the confidence to sound entirely at home hosting the podcast.
LeeAnn and all guests were recorded from their homes or offices using our state-of-the-art online recording software, plus audio enhancements of the quality in post-production.
All of the recording sessions were supervised by our professional producers, who ensured each guest felt relaxed and comfortable before recording. The producer looked after all the technical elements, leaving LeeAnn and the guest to enjoy a great conversation.
We recorded approximately 1 hour of audio for each episode, with between 4 and 6 hours of editing afterwards. This included removing ums/ers, unnatural pauses, etc., without losing any natural flow or essential information. Each episode contains around 200-300 edits. However, thanks to our world-class producers, you won’t notice any of these edits!
